Annual Pensioners Party - Feedback

26/02/2009

Service in the community is at the core of the Rotary organisation, and it is really rewarding to be able to help people in our local community.

It is even more rewarding when you get feedback like this: -

* Ruth Woods (Aged 92): -

We really appreciate all you do for us - it was such a wonderful get together and we enjoyed the music very much also the food, drink and entertainment.

Thank you also for the lovely goody bag which was very generous.

My thanks to all the Rotary members who made it such a success and also the lift home.

* Mrs Isobel de Klerk: -

I wish to thank the Rotary Club of Hanwell & Northfields for the delightful party at St Thomas the Apostle which I enjoyed very much.

The generosity and hospitality impressed me very much. The food was first class and so plentiful - much hard work and organisation was obvious and much appreciated.

I also wish to thank Mr & Mrs Short who transported me to the venue and home again.

Last but not least the goodie bag was amazing.

I wish all Rotarians a happy and prosperous New Year.

* Robin & Joyce Stevens: -

Thankyou for the invite after the nomination by Rev Matthew Grayshon to the party.

We enjoyed every minute of it and is greatly appreciated.

Look forward to possibly seeing you all of the Rotary in 2010.

Just a note to thank the members of the Rotary Club for a most enjoyable Pensioners Party. Excellent food, service and entertainment.

Meeting with friends , and transport there and back. Then the wonderful surprise, a bag filled with delicious goodies, given to us as we left.

My grateful thanks to you all.

* Ealing Youth Orchestra

The group from Ealing Youth Orchestra had a great time playing and along with their parents considered it a real pleasure to be involved.

Thank you for the opportunity to take part and for making the EYO musicians so welcome.

* Margaret O'Driscoll & Babs Radmore

Many thanks for a wonderful party, we all had a great time and much appreciated the time and the effort by yourself and the Rotary Club members and Barclays Bank to make it a memorable , fun time for us all.

The music, entertainment and food were first class and we all went home with a happy feeling inside.

* Doreen Bond

I feel I must write and thank you very much indeed for inviting me to the Senior Citizens party on Wednesday the 21st January. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and the entertainment was given by such talented people - and what a brilliant pianist!

I feel I can speak for everyone in how we enjoyed it all - lovely varied sandwiches and we must not forget those goodie bags. How very good and generous of you to give us that treat - just everything so much appreciated. I thank you again for your kindness and I hope to see you all again next year.

I must wish you all a very happy new year, 2009, with many blessings.

* Hanwell Neighbourly Care

I write on behalf of the Hanwell Pop-Ins to say a huge thank you to you, your fellow Rotarians and their partners for a wonderful party at St Thomas's Church hall.

So many people have said that it was one of the best parties they had ever been to and how much they enjoyed the Ealing Youth Orchestra's performance. The generosity of the "goody bags" was astonishing and very gratefully received.

Again, many thanks for all the hard work that I know goes into making an event like this a success: it is much appreciated.

With good wishes to you all.
