25 Teddies deliverd to Ealing Women's Refuge

05/11/2015

Another 25 teddies were delivered for children living in Ealing Women's Refuge in early NOvember. A new Mum had just arrived with a young child of about 2yrs who looked quite bewildered. One of the staff immediately gave this little boy a teddy. He looked surprised, was told it was for him and he could keep it and a broad smiled appeared as he cuddled his new friend. These teddies have proved to be so valued by their young owners.

We also delivered 16 stationery packs we had prepared for the children which will be distributed during the year as new children move into the Refuge and have to move to a new school.

We are currently preparing Shoe Boxes decorated in Christmas paper to be filled with presents for Father Christmas to deliver to all the children at this Refuge.
